We Canadians believe that the Kyoto Protocol to reduce climate changing greenhouse gases was a step forward. The government’s recent decision to pull out of the Kyoto Protocol threatens Canada’s standing in the world and, more importantly, our children’s future on this planet.
We urge that all Members of Parliament vote to recommit to the Kyoto Protocol and take real steps to fulfill Canada’s responsibility to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and protect our planet for generations to come.
